Don’t Stay Home This Week 12/02

Monday 12/02:
Our favorite bar Galaxy Hut fills your Monday night with music from darkwave act The Neuro Farm and alt-rock band Bite Marks. Come hungry for tater tots!

Tuesday 12/03:
Organized by poet and interdisciplinary artist Elena Botts, Mourning Dove makes sound art compositions of organic field recordings, experimental voice, and minimal instrumentation. Celebrate the release of their new album The Unimaginable through Etxe Records this Tuesday night at Rhizome along with Richmond’s Thin Pigeon, Human Person from Fredricksburg, and DC slowcore act A Deadly Orchestra.

Wednesday 12/04:
Wednesday night’s show at Slash Run will be the last in DC for Natasha Janfaza’s Panini Girlfriend, as she and the members of Taciturn are moving to Arizona. Catch her “punk stuff in marshmallow fluff” one last time along with Weston Smith and two touring acts, Rochester’s Roselove and Stephen Ferm from NJ.

Thursday 12/05:
We are beyond excited to present another Luce Unplugged show this Thursday! Head to the upper floor of the Smithsonian American Art Museum by 6 PM to hear newly-reformed and sounding-better-than-ever indie rock heroes Washington Social Club!
