Ra Ra Rasputin – Forward video

DC music video of the day! Ra Ra Rasputin throws down dance music like no other band in DC. Their show at Fort Reno back in 2010 actually got a huge crowd off their blankets and dancing, providing the highlight of the summer for me. Tonight they’re playing at the Red Palace with fellow locals Dance For The Dying, and to get you in the mood for some banging synthpop, check out the video for their new song Forward.

Tittsworth & Alvin Risk – Pendejas video

To celebrate, we’re featuring the video for Pendejas, Tittsworth’s collaboration with fellow DC producer Alvin Risk, from their 2011 EP Two Strokes Raw. Happy Birthday!

The Jet Age – I Want You video

DC music video of the day! The Jet Age have created their own sound, unique in the range of DC bands and refined over many years of touring and producing fantastic albums. 2/3 of the trio performed together as The Hurricane Lamps from 1995-2004. They just completed a west coast tour in support of their new album Domestic Disturbances, and they’ll be rocking this coast with The Wedding Present in late March. Check out their brand new video I Want You.

Oddisee feat. Toine – Different Now video

DC music video of the day! Oddisee is another one that DC lost to NY recently. The veteran hip-hopper was just as accomplished at production as he was at the mic, both solo and as part of Diamond District with Uptown XO and yU. Today we’ve got the beautiful video for Different Now, Oddisee’s collaboration with Toine from DTMD, from the 2010 Mello Music Group compilation Helpless Dreamer.
