DTMD – Who’s Next video

Here’s one we missed from earlier this year. Producer Dunc and rapper Toine, previously makin’ dollas together as DTMD, made their mark on DC hip-hop in 2014 with notable solo albums, Dunc’s Cycles and Toine’s Antoine Jameson. Before those, back in March they dropped a quick 4 song EP called 3 & Out and this fun video for Who’s Next, featuring godlyMC and Cortez.

Oddisee feat. Toine – Different Now video

DC music video of the day! Oddisee is another one that DC lost to NY recently. The veteran hip-hopper was just as accomplished at production as he was at the mic, both solo and as part of Diamond District with Uptown XO and yU. Today we’ve got the beautiful video for Different Now, Oddisee’s collaboration with Toine from DTMD, from the 2010 Mello Music Group compilation Helpless Dreamer.

DTMD – Raw feat. Godly MC & Kev Brown video

DC music video of the day! DTMD stands for Dunc & Toine Makin’ Dollas, and they are doing just that with their well-regarded 2011 album Makin’ Dollas. These young MD rappers are showing the DMV a thing or two about hip-hop. Check out their newly released premiere video Raw featuring Godly MC and Kev Brown.
