DC pop-punk band American Television always bring their A-game to music videos. Even the humble lyric video gets elevated by these creative chaps, as with their newest single “Standing Still”. A song about getting stuck in the glory days while the world continues on, the vid features a birthday party devoid of guests but full of delicious cake. The AMTV sound may be more LA than harDCore, but like many who live here, they have a lot to say about the troubled state of society today. AMTV’s debut full length album Watch It Burn drops January 24th on Wiretap Records.
