The Diane Scream Show is DC’s premier (only, let’s be honest) Diane Rehm-themed Talking Heads tribute band, and they play a special one-off show tonight at AdMo’s Songbyrd along with world-groove-jazz trio Djesben. NPR legend Diane Rehm herself is intruiged.
Tuesday 10/29:
The Capitol Lab Band brings their original big band jazz music to Mr. Henry’s on Capitol Hill Tuesday evening. The tunes starts at 6 PM to provide a cool tailgate for World Series game 6.
Wednesday 10/30:
Alternative rock band Higher Numbers and funky hip-hop collective Strangers That Clique come together Wednesday evening at Georgetown’s Gypsy Sally’s one more time before the beloved live music spot shuts its doors later this year for condo redevelopment. Sigh.
Thursday 10/31:
DC’s premier brass bands Black Masala and DuPont Brass throw a special Halloween Night bash at Tropicalia, with a costume contest and DJ sets from v:shal kanwar of Meso Creso.
