With the literal breath of fresh air, Porch Fest season is just in time for the long awaited arrival of autumn. The sprawling Adams Morgan Porch Fest sets up Saturday afternoon with sets from Near Northeast, Keith Butler Jr., Strangers That Clique, The Foggy Bottom Whomp Stompers, Peter Maybarduk and on and on and on.
Not to be outdone in the DC music department, Sunday‘s Takoma Park Street Festival presents The Sweater Set, King Soul, Chopteeth Afrofunk Big Band, The Nighthawks and many more gems.
