Even though drummer Brian Nelson-Palmer called time-out on his community radio show and podcast DC Music Rocks this year, his other initiatives as a dynamic supporter of DC music continue, most notably his annual August showcase at the 9:30 Club. This year the festival partnered with Luke Justin Roberts of Ivystone Records to produce live performance music videos of the five stellar and diverse show headliners: dance-rock band Iza Flo, Eli Lev‘s indie folk, punk rockers More AM Than FM, Latin “tropicaliente” Empresarios, and catchy pop-rock Sub-Radio.
