Friday night gets loud and and atmospheric at H Street NE’s Dangerous Pies. Longtime scene shoegazers Koshari just released a sparkly new single, and Norm Veenstra’s instrumental quintet TONE always dazzles with creative textures. Joining them is Cincinatti electric cello band Lung.
Saturday 11/03:
Whoa, huge go-go get-down at Echostage on Saturday night. D&T Entertainment, Epic Concepts/Uptown Production & R&G Entertainment (that’s a lot of hosts) presents The Blend II – The Only Show with Two Bands on Stage at the same time giving you hit for hit. Rare Essence, Backyard Band, Junkyard Band and New Impressionz are all DC go-go legends and this will be the party of the season!
Sunday 11/04:
The collective arts space Hole In The Sky is one of the few remaining DIY gems in the city. Sunday night Philly psych outfit Laser Background brings their brand new EP to town, and our own Cigarette and Pearie Sol support the show.
