If you love live music as much as we do, then you’ll be needing show recommendations every single night this week. Here are our picks of the finest #DCmusic happenings for the week to come.
Monday 10/08:
Find your way to the off-the-grid creative space Dwell in Trinidad tonight for an intimate show featuring Etxe Records‘ Teething Veils, a solo set from Cris Crude of the much-missed Sterling band Pygmy Lush, and Seattle emo band Scarves. There is no possible way you will regret this.
Tuesday 10/09:
City Winery is the new hot spot for classy music in DC. Tuesday night the Ivy City venue hosts grammy nominated soulful singer Carolyn Malachi, with support from “The Peace & Body Roll Duo” BOOMscat.
Wednesday 10/10:
We are honored as hell to host another monthly show at the Kennedy Center’s free daily Millennium Stage series this Wednesday. Grab the free shuttle from the Foggy Bottom metro stop and grab a seat before 6 PM for bluesy garage rock band Wanted Man!
Thursday 10/11:
Alert: two of our very fave indie pop bands Bad Moves and BRNDA are on the same bill! We are so in. Thursday night at Comet Ping Pong, the show also includes touring act Nana Grizol from Athens GA. Get there early, all tickets sold at the door.
