It’s Friday! You know the drill! Here are the #DCmusic shows we’d like you to see all weekend long.
Friday 10/05:
The new upstairs venue at H Street’s Dangerous Pies has great sound, a beautiful roof deck and also duh PIES. Tonight two of our fave new DC music discoveries, beautiful synthpop Mystery Friends and corporate indie rock Tired All The Time, share the stage with each other and their hearts with you. No cover charge means more $ for PIE!
Saturday 10/06:
If you are a beloved listener of our podcast, you are probably just as excited as we are to hear the brand new album Trains and Moonlight Destinies by gypsy brass funk band Black Masala. Saturday night the CD release party rages at Pearl Street Warehouse with support from My Son The Hurricane.
Sunday 10/07:
You always know what to expect at Slash Run: good burgers and good rock n roll. Sunday night you can catch two hometown bands, Nice Breeze and Frend, along with Boston’s Zip-Tie Handcuffs.
