DC9 hosts a dual benefit show tonight for two organizations supporting DC women musicians, Girls Rock! DC and Project Hera. The music starts damn early at 6:30 and includes RoseRiot, Chicago’s Scuttlebuggs, and Tabibito from Nagoya.
Wednesday 11/13:
The time grows short to see live music at Georgetown’s Gypsy Sally’s. Head there Wednesday night to see all-female folk trio Wicked Sycamore open for Pennsylvania bluegrass band Serene Green.
Thursday 11/14:
Thursday night Comet Ping Pong hosts the long awaited record release party for Matt Dowling’s sophomore album Unwound as Swoll. Blight Records mates Luna Honey and Baltimore’s Abdu Ali fill out a sweet night of dark synth music.
