Friday 4/12:
The new generation of folk and bluegrass take the stage tonight at Gypsy Sally’s in Georgetown. Our own Bearcat Wildcat plays with Annapolis newgrass band Swamp Donkey and Lord Nelson from Nelson County, VA.
Saturday 4/13:
The monthly showcase from the feminist musical organization This Could Go Boom returns to Dew Drop Inn Saturday night, presenting an all-DC women & nonbinary fronted lineup of Born Dad, Lightmare, The OSYX and Rosie Cima & What She Dreamed.
Sunday 4/14:
Move over Justin Trawick, there’s a new collaborative songwriter showcase in town. 5×5 presents 5 songwriters performing 5 songs for only $5, 5 times a year. The inaugural showcase takes over Galaxy Hut this Sunday night featuring Sauf Haus open mic host Ginny Hill, YellowTieGuy frontman Daniel Hill, Gabrielle Zwi, Justin Shapiro and Eli Lev.
