Monday 9/24:
Today‘s the day for our FREE monthly #DCmusic showcase at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage! The seats open at 5:30 PM for the punk mysticism of Time Is Fire!
Tuesday 9/25:
Head to the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn museum Tuesday evening for a sneak peak at the upcoming documentary Anacostia Delta about the unheralded guitar virtuoso Danny Gatton. See performances by Anthony Pirog (guitar), Dave Chappell and Jim Stephanson (guitar, vocals), Barry Hart (drums), John Previti, bass, and Dave Elliott (vocals, raconteur).
Wednesday 9/26:
Summer is officially over, but on Wednesday evening you have one more chance in 2018 to catch the DC Library’s Punk Archive initiative take over the roof of the Woodridge Library for live music. The final show includes Glue Factory and Honey, plus a rescheduled set from Boomscat.
Thursday 9/27:
The informal, off the beaten path Dew Drop Inn consistently hosts some of the most interesting music in DC. Thursday night‘s offering includes Dave Klinger’s keys and vox project Forgetter and a solo set from El Mansouris singer Fiona Kohrman.
