If you haven’t yet seen Priests live, you’re missing out on one of the most exciting live shows in DC. Singer Katie Alice Greer matches the goofy coolness of Ian Svenonious in Chain & The Gang, but with Priests she unleashes sneering energy all over the stage. The internet-averse band recently made a lot of new fans at the CMJ Music Festival, and the ever-hip music source Pitchfork filmed their performance of unreleased but memorable song “New” for their video streaming site.
