Yesterday afternoon DCist beat us to the punch and posted the new animated video from pop-punkers The Max Levine Ensemble, featuring a cute animated ghost haunting the likes of Barack Obama and John Boehner. Today Congress appears to have finally figured out a deal to avoid default and reopen the government. Coincidence? Surely not. The Scooby-Doo style animation by Ben Levin accompanies an older cut called Ghost Song, from the name-your-price collection mr. gikokovich 2000​-​2005.
