Homegrown rapper Lightshow shows the dark side of freelance driving in his new music video “Shoot for the Stars”. Like an Uber driver for criminals, Lightshow provides getaway services for heists and scams, all while singing hooks out the sunroof. The footage of Chinatown in this video is especially gorgeous. Grab Lightshow’s newest album Kalorama Heights, named after the posh neighborhood now hosting the post-presidential Obama.

DMV rapper Lightshow celebrates his success in his newest video “Now”. Chop N Shoot Films made this slick video from footage of Lightshow’s sold out album release show for Life Sentence 3 at the Howard Theatre, with plenty of DC sports jerseys and one slick ride as bonus. There’s a nice balance between boasting and jubilation from this young rapper with a bright future.

Lightshow‘s newest mixtape Life Sentence 3 takes the series, last seen in 2013, from free to paid. As the young DC rapper begins his newest single, “It’s Too Much Money To Be Made, Let’s Get Paid Before They Raid”, and the hardest working artists gotta make scratch sometime. Director Will Hoopes, vet of Chief Keef, T.I. & Yung Gleesh, delivers this video of the bleak and paranoid “Before They Raid”.
