Black Alley – Maybe?

SE DC’s rap-rock band Black Alley just released this new music video for “Maybe?” from their 2018 album Dirty Laundry and whoa. What was a raunchy party anthem is enhanced by this video into a dark vision of corruption and excess. It’s entertaining to see how far director Tyler Scheerschmidt will go to make over-indulgence in drink and smoke look terrifying and wicked. Grab tix while you can to see Black Alley perform Friday night at Ivy City’s Big Chief.

Black Alley – Complicated

Black Alley has devoted their musical energy to blending rock, R&B and DC’s homegrown sound go-go into a captivating style that grabs everyone & won’t let go. New songs by this band are few and far between these days, so it’s pretty exciting today to get a drop of a soulful new single “Complicated” and slick music video of the band recording the music. They’ve branded their upcoming show at the Fillmore Silver Spring on Friday May 26th as “The Return”, but for some of us they never left. Grab advance tickets and start Memorial Day weekend out with a blast!

Black Alley – Bad Girl

Black Alley is the cultural mixing bowl that DC desperately needs. Combining R&B, go-go and a whole lot of rock, they musically compliment just about any crowd and scene in the city. Tomorrow they play a coveted slot from 4-5 PM at the FREE 202 Arts & Music Festival at Canal Park alongside Sugar Bear & EU, Chopteeth and no less than George Clinton & P-Funk. If you miss this, you’ll be sad about it all winter. Get hyped with Black Alley’s fashionable music video for “Bad Girl” from their 2012 album Soul.Swagger.Rock.Sneakers.
